Working with OCF
Our key focus is the care and protection of children and the improvement of individual and family wellbeing. We are committed to providing support to families in crisis, to families who need extra support and to families who need guidance with the challenges of parenting.
We have offices located in the Territory’s five main regional centers of Darwin, Nhulunbuy, Katherine, Tennant Creek and Alice Springs. Many of the communities within and surrounding these regions have deep rooted social problems and multifaceted health issues that can challenge even the most experienced of staff. For many, standard responses and courses of action when faced with difficult and confronting situations may need to be reviewed in light of local realities and contexts.
For further information on the types of roles with us and what these roles entail, see our job fact sheets.
